About FFS

We are a young people & student-led anti Brexit campaign, fighting for a People’s Vote on the terms of the Brexit deal.

"If a democracy cannot change its mind, it ceases to be a democracy."

David Davis, 2013

As David Davis said back in 2013:

‘'If a democracy cannot change its mind, it ceases to be a democracy.'

Well, for once Dave, we agree with you. That’s why we refuse to accept that Brexit is inevitable.

Since the referendum result, numerous promises were made by the Leave campaign which have been shown to be completely false.

And it’s clear from the Brexit negotiations that our politicians don’t know what the hell they are doing.

If enough young people join together and make their voices heard, we can stop a decision that will damage the UK for generations.

That’s why we are mobilising students and young people across the UK to demand a People’s Vote on the Brexit deal.

Who we are

FFS is a campaign led by students and young people across the UK who have decided to stand up and be counted.

Kira Lewis

Co-ordinating team

Supporting the campaign is a small coordinating team who care deeply about the future of young people across the UK, and believe that we will be better served by staying in the European Union.

We're a registered company as For our Future's Sake Ltd.

Amanda Chetwynd-Cowieson

Student Mobilisation

Born in Aylesbury, lived in Germany and grew up in Cornwall - Amanda is the personification of freedom of movement.

She's from an armed services family with Jewish heritage and has a lot of experience working on political campaigns involving young people. She feels weirdly strongly about Cornwall.

Jason Arthur

Policy Influencing

A Londoner born and bred, Jason's family heritage hails from Ghana. Jason was a Labour councillor and has worked to tackle educational inequality both as a teacher and in the charity sector.

If overheard in the pub, he can be heard claiming that he "could've made it" as a footballer.

Richard Brooks

Campaigns and Comms

Grew up in a single parent family in Dover, Richard has spent his (admittedly short) career working in education and youth representation. He has a fringe, and we don't know why.

Liron Velleman

Public Affairs Officer

A former Union of Jewish Students Campaigns Manager and Labour Party Council Candidate, Liron has been involved in a number of election and social justice campaigns.

Liron has failed to escape student organising which gives more opportunity for people to see his Sabb election videos!

Bella Frimpong

Mobilisation Coordinator

Growing up in Italy, Ghana and the UK, Bella has experienced a lot of cultures and societies which shape her world view and help her appreciate the value of diversity- and freedom of movement.

Bella can often be found trying to tame her facial expressions from revealing her (mostly) questioning thoughts on things around her
